Enjoy fall’s splendor at Jones Preserve on Long Point. View a variety of migrating birds with this bi-annual bird banding event. Join in a guided beginner’s bird walk geared to all ages. Watch the trees for leaves and birds, all day long! Kelleys Island State Park manager will lead a tree identification walk through the state park. Enjoy a guided bird walk at the North Pond Preserve and Boardwalk.

Runners & walkers of all ages welcome! Attend this annual 5K & 1 Mile Family Fun Walk Saturday, September 18 at Put-in-Bay, Ohio. The race begins near The Boathouse Restaurant downtown. A scenic course, much of it winding along the island shoreline, participants consider this to be one of the most beautiful runs in Ohio. Preregister for discount, family discount also available. Registrants receive a discounted fare aboard Miller Ferry to Put-in-Bay. Prizes & unique engraved Lake Erie stones awarded to several age levels, male & female.

This year it will be at The Boathouse in their Parking Lot.

Visit Put-in-Bay Ohio for the 5th annual Put-in-Bay Music Festival featuring new grass, bluegrass, folk, rhythm and blues, pop and zydeco all performed LIVE and FREE in an all-day concert event located at the Boathouse Bar & Grill Parking lot located in downtown Put-in-Bay Ohio. This family-friendly event is a joint effort between many partners.

Food & beverages will be offered for sale at the event. Enjoy local favorite like Bobo Gatewood and traveling acts making guest appearances. Ohio’s Put-in-Bay will be the place to be for this special June event

2021 Cleveland Dragonboat Festival

Watch as local and regional teams compete in this beautiful and exciting sport!

We will start with the legendary "Awakening of the Dragons" ceremony at 8:30AM. Then it's off to the races, at 9AM, where teams will compete in 250-meter heats on the Black River! The three fastest teams will race each other for the championship! The festival will also feature a cancer-survivor division. Our festival will have music, food and fun for all!

The event is also the third leg of the 2019 “Great Lakes Vintage Challenge” whereby

entrants in several production classes and in Formula Vee accumulate race-finishing

points at the Waterford Hills Vintage Races, VSCDA’s Au Grattan event and at Put-in-Bay.

In addition to two full days of racing, the Put-in-Bay Sports Car Races event includes:

tours of the original island course, several social events, a car show, rocker cover

races, guest stories, and more.

For the 12th consecutive year, the sounds of the open exhausts of MGs, Porsches, Triumphs, Morgan Trikes, Turners and many other unique sports cars of the past will reverberate off the buildings along Delaware Avenue and the roads around the island which were the exact same course that the cars raced in the past. Much more than just a vintage race, the Put-in-Bay Road Races Reunion also welcomes owners/drivers of non-racing vintage sports cars of all types to come and participate in varous events and activities; honoring island's racing history, social gatherings, a car show, original course and airport-track touring, rocker cover races and more. Spend the day watching a wild array of vintage and historic sports cars. Race viewing is FREE!
